In this episode, we learn how stupid Milk and Lamune really are. The
Destruction Knight Shabetta sends a missile-message to Lamune and crew
who are (were) asleep. He sends his message, and the missile explodes.
Everyone is too tired to care. Everyone changes and slowly make their way
to Shabetta's world. Lamune and Milk take off to investigate in a small
pod. Lesuka and Da Cider land on the outside bubble of the world. Lesuka
slips and the bubble begins to glow red. Both Lesuka and Da Cider slide
around the surface and are turned into young children. Lesuka's reaction:
"Waah! my boobs shrunk!" Milk tires of Lamune's slow progress and begins
beating him up. He loses control of the pod and ends up skimming across
the surface of a lake, which begins to glow blue, and he crashes. Meanwhile
young Lesuka is beating up Da Cider. She kicks him, and he ends up sliding
the other way around the bubble, and he turns into an old man. Cocoa is
worried, she lost contact with Lamune and Milk, and begins to look for
them. Lamune wakes close to wreckage. His headpiece is missing, and he
takes off his wet jacket. Milk and Tama-Q are nowhere to be found. Lamune
walks around the nearby forest and comes across a wet red-haired girl.
Both see each other and instantly fall in love. Of course, neither one
realizes that they are Milk and Lamune, just aged slightly. Tama-Q wakes
up and sees Cocoa flying around. Tama-Q tells Cocoa what happened, and
Cocoa searches for them. Da Cider and Lesuka find Shabetta and crash into
his hideout. Da Cider attacks him, and he disappears. Meanwhile Milk and
Lamune, who have no idea who the other person is, begin chatting. Milk
ties a bandage around Lamune's wounded leg. Cocoa finds the wreckage and
sees that the parts of the pod in the water age and grow younger depending
on what color the water glows at any given time. Da Cider is busy fighting
hundreds of holographic copies of Shabetta and is beaten badly. Lamune
and Milk are still entranced with each other in the forest, and when Milk
finally gets the nerve to ask Lamune who his name is, stray missiles from
Da Cider's battle interrupt them and knock them out. Cocoa finds them and
returns them to the water, which turns red and reverses the aging process.
Shabetta is about to finish off Queen Cideron, when Lamune appears in King
Sccasher and attacks. Shabetta teleports King Sccasher around when he attacks.
Both King Sccasher and Queen Cideron transform, and Royal Squash Shabetta.
They recover the lithograph, and are off. Back on their ship, Lamune and
Milk recount their encounter in the forest, but still have no idea that
they had encountered each other.
Despite the fact that Milk's headpiece fell off in the crash, she appears
with it in one scene in the forest.
"Kimi no nawa" was the name of a radio romance show broadcast shortly after
the end of World War 2. It was also broadcast as a television show many
years later.
