This is a truly great episode. Lamune and crew are on their way to
Gear City to locate a Guardian Knight. When they arrive on site, they first
encounter a guy who talks way too fast to understand. Then, Milk finds
a guy who talks way too slow which tries her almost nonexistent patience.
Fortunately his slow speech is just fine for Cocoa, who finds out what's
going on. They soon notice that everyone in the city has a wind-up key
on their back, and are working as virtual robots in a gun factory. This
was the doing of Dr. What, who is under the control of Don Harumage. Lesuka
and Da Cider arrive and work out a plan to trap Lamune. Lesuka finds an
outfit in a fashion magazine and uses it as a disguise. Pretending to be
a damsel in distress, she tricks the gullible Lamune and steals his King
Sccasher coin. Da Cider brings out a hidden monskar and chases the helpless
heroes outside. While they are running, Da Cider shoots Lamune with a wind
up key which slows him down. While outside, Lamune calls out Shirukorn
to hold back the monskar. Lamune begins to slow down, and Cocoa and Milk
wind him up... maybe too much. He goes into hyper turbo mode, disappears
into a flash, and returns with the coin. Thanks to Tama-Q's on-board video
recorder, we get a slow motion replay. He runs up into the monskar. His
first order of business was to locate the King Sccasher coin, which is
predictably in the metallic breast-plate area of Lesuka's outfit. Then,
he writes "UGLY" on her face and messes up her hair. Da Cider is next...
he gets "STUPID" written on his face, and then a solid right to the jaw.
After Lamune winds down, the key falls off, and he brings out King Sccasher.
Lamune immediately changes into Samu Lion. Da Cider says something along
the lines of "isn't it a bit early to do that?" Lamune says something like
"I'm so pissed off, you deserve it!" and destroys the monskar. Lesuka and
Da Cider go flying off in their V-1 escape capsule where she comments "You
didn't even give him a good fight!"
Dekunobuu means "good for nothing", and is the name of the really slow
talking guy in the gun factory.
Da Cider and Lesuka's monskar never even throws a punch at King Sccasher
in this episode.
The coin that Lamune puts in to get Shirukorn is the Pon coin.
In one scene, the animators forgot to paint the blue area of Lesuka's hair.
She looks rather strange as a complete blonde.
