Pop! Flowers are Blooming on Heads Along the River Nyile!

Stan Hansen is on rather rough water. Lamune and Milk are seasick.
Even Milk's fiery protest seems to make matters worse, and both end up
above deck polluting the river. Milk screams at the river, and it suddenly
dries up. Harumage calls Da Cider and Lesuka and send them to the Nyile
River. Both are happy because they know Beppin is there. Lamune drives
Stan Hansen through the dry riverbed, where they come upon a huge dead
tree. Lamune climbs up to a boat stuck in the tree when the river dried
up. Of course, the person in the boat is a cute young girl. She awakes
and asks for water, which Lamune gladly gives her. Only then does he notice
the flower on the top of her head, which she waters. Milk then points out
the gigantic sunflower shaped sprinkler not too far away. The sprinkler
has sucked the river dry, and the villagers, who all have flowers on their
heads, are getting thirsty. Beppin arrives and puts them all to sleep,
where she tours her beautiful flower garden. Lesuka and Da Cider arrive,
and the two old friends wander off leaving Da Cider all by himself. Liila,
the girl Lamune rescued, tells what happened to her village. Lamune and
Milk promise to help. Cocoa interrupts them and very calmly points out
that they are about to crash into the giant sunflower and die. Meanwhile
the crew inside the flower are in a panic, and open the thousands of missile
doors to reveal an endless supply of seed shaped missiles. Stan Hansen
goes into a panic trying to avoid the missiles. Beppin, Lesuka, and Da
Cider arrive in the control center, and Da Cider takes control of the missile
launcher. Eventually the blimp bag is punctured, and Stan Hansen crashes
into Beppin's flower field. As Stan Hansen drives away, Da Cider keeps
attacking, blowing up the flowers. When Beppin's protests are ignored,
she sprays her pink mist and everyone gets another flower on their heads.
Da Cider gets a cactus with a flower. Beppin and Lesuka take off to battle
Lamune on their own. They take off in a small bee-shaped flyer. They attack
Lamune with guns and bombs, and when Lamune has enough, it's time for King
Sccasher. Beppin controls the sunflower, which is really a monskar. Tama-Q
suggests that it may be a Guardian Knight in disguise, and Lamune gives
it the Saint Bomb treatment. Unfortunately, it's not, and it turns into
a really ugly creature indeed. Lamune begins to battle the flower abomination
and it proves to be very powerful. Beppin releases her pink mist, and everyone
gets sleepy. Lamune tiredly launches Ceylorm. Ceylorm furiously battles
the monskar but is beaten. Seeing Ceylorm get his ass beat pisses Lamune
off, and the mist effect wears off. He transforms into Samu Lion and blows
a sizable hole in the monskar. Simultaneously, he destroys Beppin's bee
fighter. Lamune returns to Ceylorm, who seems just fine. Beppin floats
down the river on the remains of her destroyed fighter, while Lesuka escapes
overhead. Beppin screams to her old friend "Lesuka, you've betrayed me!"
and swears her revenge. Lamune leaves Liila and the villagers behind, their
flowers gone from their heads. Lesuka and Da Cider get their punishments.
Da Cider is smashed by giant cacti, and Lesuka gets her clothes eaten off
by some hungry plants. Lamune flies off into his next adventure.
'Beppin' is an old term for 'beautiful woman'
Beppin was betrayed by Lesuka. I have a feeling we'll see her again in
9 episodes.
'Nyile' is intended to sound like 'Nile'. Beppin's clothing is straight
out of a Cleopatra movie.
