This episode continues to introduce us to the Lamune & 40 story.
When Lesuka and Da Cider return to Hoy-Hoy castle, they are turned over
to the Punisher, who dishes out an ironic punishment via a "wheel of torture".
Meanwhile, Lamune is still on the grounds of Arara Castle. He enjoys some
showing off, making King Sccasher do handstands and dance. Lamune
gets a new weapon, called "Astoroko" (Not sure what this is supposed to
mean yet) which are a pair of top-like objects. They can be deployed with
a string as a yo-yo, or spun like a top. Lamune can jump on top of a spinning
one and ride on top of it. Cocoa takes Lamune and Milk to the the lion-headed
waterfall near Arara Castle and releases Stan Hansen. Stan Hansen is a
multipurpose car/boat/blimp that Lamune and crew can use to travel around
Hara-Hara World. About that time, Lesuka and Da Cider arrive and introduce
themselves to Lamune. (Lamune finds Lesuka quite attractive) Da Cider releases
some monskars to destroy Lamune. All three hop into Stan Hansen and evade
the monskars. Unfortunately, Lamune gave Milk the King Sccasher coin. Doubly
unfortunate was the fact she let her father have it. After a quick escape
to Arara Castle, and some quick use of the Astoroko, Lamune gets the coin
back. Lamune uses King Sccasher, but can't destroy the monskars. It seems
that some of the monskars are good guys that have been transformed by Don
Harumage. The only way to turn them back is to use the "Saint Bomb", which
releases a wave of energy. The energy will turn a converted Guardian Knight
back from evil. It also has the interesting effect of turning making the
monskars more powerful and ugly. Lamune uses the Saint Bomb and discovers
the centipede monskar is really the 8 Pon Brothers (Pon Hatsukyoudai).
Lamune then learns that when he gets 'furiously hot blooded', he can transform
King Sccasher into the powerful Samu Lion, a golden lion robot. Lamune
then defeats the monskars and sends Da Cider and Lesuka back to Hoy-Hoy
Castle for their punishment. Lamune takes off with Milk and Cocoa in Stan
Hansen to begin the search for the rest of the Guardian Knights.
Stan Hansen is the name of a professional wrestler. This is one of
the many wrestling puns that occur throughout Lamune & 40. In addition,
'han sen' means 'sail boat'.
The fact that some monskars are really Guardian Knights makes Lamune's
job more difficult. If he destroys a monskar without using the Saint Bomb,
he may kill a Guardian Knight. If the monskar is not a Guardian Knight,
it makes it much more powerful.
