WAN DABADABADATTA
Played by Kappei Yamaguchi / First appears Series I, Episode 1
Wan is the 14 year old son of Shaba Dabadabadatta, chief of the Tiger Clan, and his wife, Rune. Wan is a spoiled and rebellious teen, who has a tendency to annoy people with his obnoxious attitude. He has several characteristic traits, amongst which his hunger would have to be foremost: he is always hungry and eats whenever possible. Although, when starved enough he "goes bezerk" and will try and eat anything edible; which, unfortunately, often includes his poor friend Bud Mint! Amongst his other traits, is an involuntary compulsion to change into his beast form whenever he sneezes. Wan believes the treasure of GAIA to be a never-ending mountain of food.
BUD MINT
Played by Takehito Koyasu / First appears Series I, Episode 1
Bud Mint is from the First Bird Clan located high in the mountains of what was apparently once the USA. He speaks a lot of English (which he learned from his grandfather), especially when he attemps to pick-up women (probably most comparable to would-be Romeo's who use French to woo women in the Engish speaking world). His favourite one-liner is "Oh, I would die for you," but whether or not he'd actually do so is a matter of debate. Bud has a very laid-back attitude about things, and, like his friend Wan, suffers from an inflated ego and an involuntarily triger that changes him into his bird form whenever something gives him goosebumps. He hopes that when he finds GAIA , it will bring him his own harem of pretty girls.
MEI MAH
Played by Mika Kanai / First appears Series I, Episode 1
A princess of the Mermaind Clan's semi-submerged city, Sakilantis (seemingly located somewhere in the Medditerranean), Mei Mah is perfectly at home under the water. She has gill-fins that protrude from behind her ears even when she is not transformed into her mermaid form. She and Wan were childhood friends, but the two have not seen each other in sometime by the time they're both captured by the humans. Of all the Beasts, she is the most concerned with the task at hand, although she does hope the treasure of GAIA will be something "pretty" like jems or jewelry. Submergence in water or crying causes her to transform.
MEKKA MANNEN
Played by Hiromi Shioya / First appears Series I, Episode 1
Although not one of the "Three Beast Warriors" per se, he is both Mei Mah's friend and travelling companion. Also from Sakilantis, he is captured with Mei Mah by the marauding human army. Mekka's can stay underwater for long periods of time when transformed, although as a sea turtle he is far slower than the other Beasts, but much better armored. Mekka is extremely passive, and tends to spend most of his time protecting the young Yuuni Charm Password.
DOCTOR PASSWORD
Played by Tatsuyuki Ishimori / First appears Series I, Episode 1
Dr. Password is the greatest scientist of the KO Century, who's task is to awaken the Jinn and find their link to the mighty GAIA NETWORK. Coerced into the service of the invading humans, he regrets his association with Czar Master and URANUS and their desire to destroy all of Beastkind. He releases the captured Beasts so that they will help him escape URANUS with his grand-daughter, who seems to be inexplicably linked to GAIA -- but in order to enlist their help fully, he convinces them that finding GAIA will bring them a great "treasure"; which the Beasts take rather literally.
YUUNI CHARM PASSWORD
Played by Rumi Shishido / First appears Series I, Episode 1
Yuuni is Dr. Password's very hyperactive six year-old granddaughter. Yuuni has a subconscious link to the GAIA NETWORK, of which she isn't aware; and, on occasion, she becomes receptive to commands from GAIA in the form of unconscious trances. Unlike most humans, Yuuni is very fond of the Beasts, and becomes rather attatched to them and Wan in particular.
V-DARN
Played by Yasunori Matsumoto / First appears Series I, Episode 1
V-Darn claims to be the "Magic Warrior of URANUS", and despite his pointy ears, claims to be completely human. He has absolutely no mercy, and enjoys torturing "dirty beasts" to their deaths. He has the ability to cast spells and project energy weapons from his hands, and (along with his partner V-Sion) commands URANUS' robotic army. His tiny companion, Akumako, is never far behind.
AKUMAKO
Played by Naoko Matsui / First appears Series I, Episode 1
Akumako may be small, but her bloodlust does not reflect her diminutive stature. She likes to eat the souls of V-Darn's victims when they die, and constantly incites him to kill. Devil-like in appearance, Akumako (literally "Devil-child") can teleport from place to place as well as fly with her bat-like wings.
V-SION
Played by Yuuko Mizutani / First appears Series I, Episode 1
V-Sion accompanies V-Darn in his attacks on the Beasts. She is only slightly more compassionate than V-Darn, but not by a great deal. Her fighting skills are of the martial arts style, and her body suit has the ability to form a variety of weapons which she takes great relish in using upon her partner.
CZAR MASTER
Played by Seizou Kato / First appears Series I, Episode 1
The evil ruler of the floating human colony of URANUS, Czar Master and his collective "brains" plot the destruction of the Beasts and await human rule over the Earth. Czar Master needs the power of the GAIA NETWORK to fulfill his evil plans.
C-SEGAL
Played by Ai Origasa / First appears Series II, Episode 1
When the evil Czar Master grows tired of the constant failure of underlings V-Darn and V-Sion, he sends for the highly skilled C-Segal and his crew of female warriors as replacements. Brainwashed into service under the human forces, C-Segal is tormented by childhood memories, and remains blissfully ignorant of his true nature and importance to the Beast's struggle against the humans and URANUS.
