Wan, Bud, Mei Mah and Mekka are playing Mah Jong in a cave that they've been trapped in, and they all look like zombies, with glowing yellow eyes. Bud loses to all three of them at the SAME TIME, and therefore must be eaten. They have been trapped in the cave for 5 days, and are nothing but skin and bones. Even Mekka wants to eat Bud. Yuuni, However, is enjoying a bountiful harvest of fruit above ground with the Jinn. The only thing that prevents them from re-enacting scenes from "Alive" is Kairei-Oh, who saves them just in time.

Riding on Kairei-Oh's shoulders, the Beasts are so starved, they can hardly move, until they come to a grand city. Mekka recognizes it as the City of Atlas, located in the middle of a lake. There is a bazaar going on, and they eat to their hearts' content. After their meal, they begin to search the city for a mechanic who can fix their Jinn.

They hear of such an individual who "can fix anything mechanical", so they go to search for him. V-Darn spots them from the marketplace, while buying a fish, camouflaged as an otter. He shoots a homing dart onto Wan's muffler. Wan thinks the sound was his imagination, and continues innocently on his way. But V-Darn runs into problems with the kid running the fish stand when he doesn't have enough money, but when V-Darn tries to bully the kid, he turns into a bear, and calls his dad. V-Darn realizes his mistake when the huge bulky figure comes out from behind the counter. He staggers back to the ship, beaten-up and humiliated.

Back at the ship, he reports back to Czar Master, and at that time discovers that he and V-Sion have been dropped from the mission, and essentially fired. Akumako pokes fun at V-Darn for being ignored, but feels sympathetic for him she sees her master's depression. He joins V-Sion in a cave, where she has discovered a Jinn. She wants to awaken it, but V-Darn argues that they don't need the help of a Jinn. V-Sion defies V-Darn, telling him to go on his own; that she does whatever she pleases. An angry V-Darn, and a blood-starved Akumako rush off to assault the Beasts.

Meanwhile, the Beasts have arrived at the shop of Don Yasushi, the mechanical expert, a wild boar Beast, and the tallest Beast in all of Atlas. Don taunts Wan for being short, saying that girls don't go for little boys. Yuuni finds Don a thrill, happily crying out "Yay! It's Mr. Pig!...Let's play, Mr. Pig!" Don finds it even less amusing when Yuuni flips up his coat. For a split second, Wan and the others think they saw another Beast under the coat, but Don quickly denies it, and they go outside to look at the Jinn. V-Darn and Akumako track the homing dart on Wan, while V-Sion works on activating the Jinn.

The Beasts run into problems when they realize they have no money to pay Don for the repairs. Wan tells them that it's not a problem, and proceeds to hit Mei Mah over the head. She begins to cry, and cries pearls. Wan and Bud are extatic that they can fix their Jinn, but Mei Mah is angry, and slaps Wan several times with her fin.

Finally, the Jinn are placed in special holding tanks. Mekka notices the symbol of GAIA on the tanks, and Don gets defensive when Wan then asks how long it will take to fix them. V-Darn cuts them off, though, and proceeds to attack the Beasts with his new energy power. Don's house is blown to bits, and he tells Wan that "You'll pay for your friend's damages to my house!" Wan denies knowing V-Darn, and V-Darn tries to blast them. Don drops his pearls, and is blasted in two when he tries to go back for them. V-Darn is about to destroy the Beasts when he runs out of power. The Beasts then surround him, and beat him up, until...V-Sion manages to awaken the Jinn, Yourei-Oh (Demon Lord), and saves V-Darn, who is now only semi-clothed. Yourei-Oh attacks the Beasts, and they are blown off the platform. Yuuni's power is activated, and a satellite high above Earth shoots an energy beam down to the holding tanks, and energizes the Jinn, which break out and counter-attack Yourei-Oh and V-Sion. The Beasts are happy to see their Jinn all fixed, but they rush off to join the battle when the Jinn appear to be losing. V-Sion notices the Beasts, and attacks them. Yuuni uses her power to reform Shinrei-Oh, who is now also powered up. Shinrei-Oh opens up a full energy attack on Yourei-Oh, and blows it up. The Humans retreat.

Czar Master's new soldier arrives from the other side of the world. The soldier, C-Segal, tells the Czar Master that he will take care of everything.

The Beasts mourn the loss of Don Yasushi, when he suddenly wakes up, and realizes that half of him is missing. His son, Don Uribou, the bottom half, wakes up, and they both realize that they've been found out. Wan and the others are ready to set out to find GAIA, only now Mei Mah has caught a high fever. They don't know what to do...
